When a user takes an action with a user or your events from a segment or from other data sources. From these events, we add these into counters and user traits.

User Attributes

Any non-numerical about the user. We have Quest user properties or you can create your own. You can manually tag. Two ways to record attributes, either you add through a request SDK or through an event, or through a quest campaign.

Counters

Users click a demo 5 times, and a user who has visited a website 10 times in the last 30 days is a highly active user.

Metrics

Metrics is a formula of different sets of counters.
